I & C TECHNICIAN

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as an  I&C Technician, Controls Technician, or similar in an engineering environment

• Hands-on experience with:
• Rockwell / Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix)
• FactoryTalk View (SE/ME)
• PanelView HMIs
• VFDs
• Strong  instrumentation calibration and troubleshooting experience
• Ability to read and interpret:
• Schematics
• P&IDs
• Ladder Logic
• Electrical diagrams

Key Responsibilities 

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot:
• Flow meters
• Pressure transmitters
• Temperature sensors
• Load cells
• pH meters
• Level switches
• Perform loop checks, signal verification, and corrective actions
• Maintain and update:
• Instrument indexes
• I/O documentation
• Wiring diagrams
• P&IDs

Automation & Rockwell Systems

• Troubleshoot and support  Rockwell PLC systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot  FactoryTalk View and  PanelView HMIs
• Monitor PLC/HMI performance and assist with:
• Minor programming changes
• Version control
• Backups (following MOC procedures)
• Support  VFDs, servo drives, and motor controls

Production Equipment Support

• Diagnose downtime involving  controls, sensors, and automation systems
• Support processing, batching, packaging, and material handling equipment
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations to reduce downtime
• Participate in  root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes

Continuous Improvement

• Support automation upgrades and process optimization projects
• Assist with integration of new equipment
• Recommend improvements for reliability, safety, and data visibility
